My Community- Day 1 Intro.

My Community is our theme for August. Today I introduced the class to what a community is. We looked at photo cards, talked about places, people and vehicles that we would see when looking out our own front window, and read Busy, Bust, Town By: Richard Scarry. I also introduced the Letter Gg (due to so many kids being gone we will do Letter Gg collage tomorrow) After Circle Time the kids look for community pictures in magazines for our class Community collage.
