Sky- Day 8

Art/Sensory - Sky Scent Painting. I hung our Sky collage up net to the paint area and mixed in Peppermint, Vanilla, Lemon, Root beer, and Cinnamon into the paint. As the kids made their sky painting I asked them what scent's they could smell.

Math- Lego Sky Matching

Sky- Day 7

Here is what we did on Day 7.......

Art- Smash Art. We did the normal blue and white smash art when we were doing food and It Looked Like Spilt Milk so we changed it up with color this time

Literacy- Letter Ee coloring

Math/Sensory- Play-Doh numbers

Sky- Day 6

Today was water day and we ran out of time to do art but the kids did do sidewalk painting with water and paint brushes when we were outside for water day. Her is what else we did on Day 6 of Sky......

Math- Sticker number jar. I made this in word but make sure when you are doing a number activity like this you are repeating the number to your little one and help them count to the number you are teaching.

Sensory- Water play

Here is what we did on Day 5 of Sky.....
Art- Paper plate sun & Rainbow

Math- Star number match up

Science-  We did a rain experiment using shaving cream, food coloring and water. I explained how clouds hold water before a storm.

Literacy- Letter Aa-Ee matching

Sky- Day 4

Here is what we did on Day 4 of Sky....

Art- Bubble Painting. I bought my son the Crayola color bubbles and after the 1st time my son used them I was ready to toss them. They had stained everything in sight, my son, his clothes and whatever the bubbles had touched but decided to keep them. They came in handy for bubble painting. Since it's to hot to bubble paint outside at this point i did it in my kitchen and put newspaper on everything.

Math- Number Bubble File folder game (Matching numbers to dots)

Literacy- Letter Ee tracing with sensory bag's/ (I used hair gel and glitter)

Sensory- Bubble's

Cooking- We will be doing more cooking during the summer due to the fact it's to hot to go outside. The kid's made banana bread for afternoon snack,

Sky- Day 3

Today we did activities around the book Good Night Moon by:Margaret Wise Brown. Here is what we did today....

Art- Cotton Moon Painting

Science/Sensory- Today was water day.

Sky- Day 2

On Day 2 of Sky our focus was on Rainbow's. Here is what we did......

Art-  Colored Pasta painting. I color the pasta with food coloring after i cook it, split it up (Half for painting and the rest for sensory play later)

Math- Rainbow Sorting into Muffin Tin

Science/Sensory- Color Pasta play

Cooking- Rainbow Fruit Salad
